About Room With A Race

What is this?

Room With A Race helps cycling fans find places to stay directly on the road of UCI World Tour races. We show every stage of the three Grand Tours (Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, Vuelta a España) and all five Monuments on a map, with hotels, B&Bs, and guest houses pinpointed along the route.

The idea is simple: book a room with a view of the peloton passing by your window.

How it works

• Race routes are sourced from publicly available GPX data and displayed on OpenStreetMap tiles
• Accommodations within roughly 30 metres of the route are identified using Google Places data
• Each listing shows its distance from the route, rating, and a direct link to Google Maps for booking
• We filter out listings with zero reviews to ensure quality

Room With A Race is a project by David's Dearest, built with a love for professional cycling and the experience of watching a Grand Tour stage from the roadside.
